Although true, the Rn6 is pricier even so the Ne4 holds its own. I do have the Rn6 too. It's more "fun" but the Ne4 seems more balanced. Of course it's just an opinion

I have both, I'd chose the Ne4 any time. To my ears the mids aren't recessed and the vocals aren't veiled.

The QDC 8 Pro is worth a try, for me it has become my go to iem.

I don't think you could go wrong with the 8 series anyway

I've not been out in a gale, but given my 1 1/2 hours with them they were considerably better than the previous 2 versions, the Grado and Sennheiser I've owned. But each to their own of course.
