Recommendations for Wireless IEM's for small ears under $100?
My wife is looking to get a set of wireless ear buds for travel. She needed tubes in her ears when she was younger and as such has small ear canals. I've had several recommendations for Goggle Pixel Bud A's. Would this be a decent option or are there other alternatives?- Skippman

Gaming headphones that can switch between sources?
Answering my own question in case someone else is looking into it. It looks like the Arctis Pro Wireless will support both Bluetooth for cellphones and wireless to the computer simultaneously. These appear to be using the same drivers as their Arctis Pro + GameDAC which is certified for Hi-Res...- Skippman

Audeze Mobius vs SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless
I'm looking to replace my outdated pair of HyperX Cloud Revolvers with a premium set of wireless headphones for gaming. I made a list of the features I considered to be important when trying to determine which cans to get. Requirements 1. Be wireless. 2. Support some form of surround sound...- Skippman

Audiophile Ethernet Switches - any evidence of effect?
OMG, is this seriously a thing now? I thought I'd heard of every snake oil scam after I saw those myrtle wood blocks for your speaker wires that were supposed to "decouple" the wires from the "ground plane."- Skippman

Gaming headphones that can switch between sources?
With COVID going on I've been allowed to work from home. This appears to have a high likelihood of becoming a permanent change thanks to my employer, which I wholeheartedly welcome. When I was in the office I had a Plantronics headset for phone calls, and a pair of Logitech H800's that I could...- Skippman

Recommendation Needed for Daily Work Headphones And Gaming
What I really need is a headset that allows me to switch between either a wireless dongle and bluetooth, or switch between two bluetooth sources without having to re-pair it.- Skippman

Recommendation Needed for Daily Work Headphones And Gaming
Until this point I have been using a set of HyperX Cloud Revolver headphones for my gaming needs, and a set of Logitech H800 Bluetooth wireless headphones for my office needs. My Cloud Revolvers have been pressed into service as my daily work headphones for conference calls and many on the...- Skippman

Another "Which Earbud" thread. <$50
I'm sure you're all probably sick of these threads but I'm genuinely at a loss and most of the sub $50 threads I've found are several years old. I've gone through two sets of NuForce NE-600X earbuds. The drivers always seem to fail on me and i'm not sure if that's due to ear moisture or just a...- Skippman

How to Upgrade Your iRiver H320/H340 to Solid State
Sorry for the late reply. The holidays and what not. My experience echo's a lot of what you all have experienced as well. I initially formatted the SD card in windows the same way you all did then transferred the files while the SD card was still outside the iRiver. When I put the iRiver back...- Skippman

How to Upgrade Your iRiver H320/H340 to Solid State
I'm still having this same problem as well. I don't really want to have to disassemble the entire player to pull the SD card just to add more songs. If you could post whatever you had to do to get it to work we'd all appreciate it.- Skippman

Replacement for Logitech H800s?
So I'm a cube junkie who spends large amounts of my day with headphones on. I don't have any peers in my building so there's really no reason not to. I've been using a pair of Logitech H800's for a couple years on the recommendation of a co-worker and honestly, they've been pretty great for my...- Skippman

How to Upgrade Your iRiver H320/H340 to Solid State
First let me say I love the mod! I allowed me to vastly increase the storage space of my old iRiver 340. However, when I connect it to a PC to transfer files through the iRivers USB port it reads the SD Card volume incorrectly. I show a vastly larger volume size than is actually in the iRiver...- Skippman

I just completed this on my iRiver H340 along with a change over to a 2200mah battery. Working great! Thanks so much for figuring this all out and writing clear and accurate instructions!- Skippman

How to Upgrade Your iRiver H320/H340 to Solid State
Wow! I thought I was the only guy who had one of these things! I'd been considering replacing the mechanical HD with a SSD for a while but because of the tiny form factor I considered it cost prohibitive. Thanks for this excellent write up and sourcing the parts! I'm planning on ordering...- Skippman

The Nameless Guide To PC Gaming Audio (with binaural headphone surround sound)
Question. After reading the main post a second time I'm lead to believe that the Creative Labs Z card is technically inferior to my old X-Fi card? Is that true? I still have my X-Fi card around and could swap it out if there's an actual difference in quality between the two cards.- Skippman
