I'm sure you're all probably sick of these threads but I'm genuinely at a loss and most of the sub $50 threads I've found are several years old.
I've gone through two sets of NuForce NE-600X earbuds. The drivers always seem to fail on me and i'm not sure if that's due to ear moisture or just a design flaw. I love these ear buds but cannot justify constantly buying a new pair every 6-8 months.
I had a set of old school Skullcandy Ink'd that worked ok and seemed to last forever.
I'm looking for a set that will last, are good for mid to smaller sized ears, are corded, and have a 3.5mm straight plug. I listen to predominately rock/metal and trance/drum & bass/synthwave. I tend to prefer warmer sounding audio. I will not be using this with an external DAC or amp. These will primarily be used with my Samsung Galaxy 8, an iPad Pro 9.5", and an iRiver H340 MP3 player. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
