    MuFi Tri-Vista DAC?

I think there are some very good points that were brought up in this thread. The MF has a very distinctive house sound. You have to like it or you will be better off with something else. The Tri-Vista DAC is good for its price but it is far from the best unless you appreciate the MF sonic...

I'm Letting This Musical Fidelity (eBay) Go...

Unfortunately, MF screws do have a tendency to rust in humid climates. I am living in Singapore and I have had to change the screws for my Tri-Vista DAC 21 twice already. The local distributor has been very good in obtaining replacement screws but it is still a hassle.

    Hard Disk based source

The iRiver H-120/140 has been discontinued I think. Hmm, Cambridge Audio, we have a dealer for that in Singapore. Thanks for the information. Anymore?

    Hard Disk based source

Not sure where to put this thread since it kinda fits in a few categories (Source, Portable etc). Mods please move this thread if you feel that I posted it in the wrong category. I am looking for a hard disk based source with an optical or digital coax out that I can put through my DAC...

Audigy4 Pro: ASIO still at 16/48KHz

If I recall correctly, I read somewhere that the Audigy 3 name was originally reserved for a PCI-Express product that has yet to be released and may never be released as Audigy 3. The only reason why the PC sound industry is so different from the PC graphics industry is lack of competition...

    ipod plunge

It takes a long time to rip 500+ CDs. There are quite a few companies that will help you rip your CDs. The prices vary depending on the number of CDs and what bitrate encoding you want. Some companies require you to mail your CD collection to them, some will pick it up, some will require that...

    Sony DVP-NS900V

Thanks for the reply. I would have bought it based on what you have posted. But at that time, I was only able to judge it from a video player perspective as the shop could only hook it up to a TV. I ended up buying the SCD-XA9000ES instead.

    Picture of iPod 4G

I so not see why a colour screen is needed. Its an MP3 player, all it needs to do is display nice and clear text. An optical out will be great. iPod to external DAC will be a killer. Speaking of which, are there any MP3 players out there with optical outs other than the iRiver H120?

I would wait for confirmation, if it really is for 110-120V, it WILL blow when you plug it in.
