Yeah the bass is the star of the show but by no means are the mids and treble overshadowed. I love DDs but when Sonion BA and ESTs are really well implemented, it really hits the spot.

Same here, credit to Fiio, I’m still impressed with mine. Battery life could be better but the sound quality still superb. Hopefully gets an android update and prolong its use even more.

No subwoofer not essential, the bass will surprise you coming from such a small speaker. Really well built too, you can tell it’s durable. There’s also an app with simple 10 band EQ.
