Recommendation for a laid-back, relaxed open back headphone for rock and prog-metal
Hi, what did you get. Did you try the HD600/650 vs the R70x and Aeolus. I am in the same boat as was you. Need something comfortable for listening at desk for background music/low level music and enjoyment. Listen to mostly Jazz, Classic Rock, Progressive and sometimes Modern Pop. And did you...- rishabhgkp

Nightjar Singularity
Is Singularity good with bands like Tool, Dream Theatre, Metallica, Rush, or it becomes too much enveloped with bass? Also on the other hand with modern pop.- rishabhgkp

Symphonium Crimson - Impressions and Reviews (The Next Standard)
What would you prefer for EDM/Progressive Rock/Classic Rock, if in case you listen to them? Say, Metallica, Daft Punk, Rush, Pearl Jam etc. Also do both of the IEMs fit you comfortably?- rishabhgkp

Symphonium Crimson - Impressions and Reviews (The Next Standard)
Anyone who has had experience with Crimson and Monarch 3/Butastur /SoundRhyme, who can chime in some comparisons! I have the u12t, it's great but it sounds a little distant sounding to me, loses out a bit on engagement while the SR8 on the other hand satisfies me on that, but loses a bit on...- rishabhgkp

Night Oblivion Butastur thread
Yeah, they can be compared on the basis of sonic capabilities they offer. And if Butastur is being compared to them, it surely must be a great IEM. Would love to hear more on them, esp. vs the Neon Pro, and DTE900 (again its a tribrid, lol) before pulling the trigger.- rishabhgkp

Night Oblivion Butastur thread
Are not the Z1r, Mest3 and Butastur, all very different configurations, and different sound signatures! It would be easier to compare it to likes of Neon Pro, SR8, Anole Vx, u12t.- rishabhgkp

Nightjar Singularity
Exactly my take, I am also looking for a complementary IEM to relaxed yet detailed, SR8. I've shortlisted Singularity, Neon Pro, DTE900 and Mest 3 for that spot for similar genres, but unable to pin point one. Do let me know if you decide @ma151. Also if anyone has any valuable inputs. TIA- rishabhgkp
