Honestly, I think it is very unlikely to be added. They probably have a good reason to make it the way is it made. Knowing Focals focus on audio quality, they probably made a deliberate choice to not have that option.

In all 3 modes, although it is much louder in Transparent mode. Somewhat of a pointless comparison to make it clear: The noise in silent or soft is about 1 or 2 out of 10. The noise in transparency would be around 6 or 7 out of 10. 10/10 is normal music listening volume.

So you are going to use the headphone with a cable through the room? Why not set the AMP on a coffee table next to your couch or something? No wire mess (if you cable manage the optical / xlr cable well) and volume control close by.

I use SMSL SU9 + Singxer SA1 But only the SMSL has a remote, and I personally am of opinion it is better to alter the volume on the amp rather the DAC. But you could probably use the SU9 volume without any problem. Why a remote btw? Always wondered why people use remotes with their headphone...
