on my third night with the volür.. couldn't wean my ears from them.. LOL and i totally agree to this even though i don't have a Nio to compare them with. volür + hugo2 = pure musical bliss for my ears. this had been the best synergy that i have ever heard through all the gear that I've had...- priest331

HiBy RS8 flagship Darwin R2R Android DAP -- Class A -- news and impressions thread
hiby found a solution to the issue. found out that this also worked with the Digitally Imported apps. opened each of the app's APP INFO, force stopped them, then cleared the cache and app data under the storage tab. APK Pure finally worked again, and was able to download updates. as with the...- priest331

hello.. has anyone installed any of the streaming apps by DIGITALLY IMPORTED on the RS8? there are 6 apps, ROCK RADIO, DI RADIO, JAZZ RADIO, CLASSICAL RADIO, ZEN RADIO, and RADIO TUNES. they randomly stream music after you've chosen a genre / sub genre from one of the apps. pretty cool, as...- priest331

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
thank you for replying. still trying to find one. actually, i have copied the UAPP settings on the DX320 to the UAPP settings of the RS8 so to make them as similar as possible. UAPP in the DX320 played DSD512 natively. but RS8 could not, still downsampling the DSD512 files to PCM 352.8KHz...- priest331

Hello, I have an RS8. and DSD512 files are being downsampled to PCM 352.8KHz. Could you please share the UAPP settings of your RS6 which made possible the native playback of DSD512 files? Thank you.- priest331

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hello.. I have been using UAPP in both the iBasso DX320EX and the Hiby RS8. Tried playing DSD512 files in both of them using UAPP. With the DX320EX, DSD512 files could be played NATIVELY. With the RS8, DSD512 files are being downsampled to PCM 352.8KHz. Tried all the settings in UAPP, checking...- priest331

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
hello, sorry if i may have missed the discussion here. but since my DX320X AMP14 just arrived from repair, i only got to compare the RS8 to it. and i got a lot of backreading to do. with UAPP installed to both DAPs, DX320X AMP14 is able to play DSD 512 NATIVELY. in the RS8, DSD 512 is...- priest331

was just trying the RS8 if could play DSD 512. it does effortlessly in the Hiby App. probably, it has something to do with windows and the settings with audirvana. hiby said the RS8 could handle DSD 512 files in the DAC MODE. will tweak audirvana settings again ang hope to figure this out...- priest331
