I found it very easy indeed. By just changing the preferred output in Audirvana and a quick turn on the input knob on the MHA I can, to my ears, change the sound signature. I had both USB and optical cables connected for the whole test.

Sometimes I like the way Americans/Englishman/French just pronounce names as if they were part of their own language. Always having a good laugh at that. Especially obvious during football games.

Looks like I was wrong and it was indeed Eyjafjallajökull. Vatnajökull is merely the more known (and, as far as I know, bigger) brother of it. Thanks for pointing it out.
