SR60-Mod part II
Are there any mods to really lower the treble and boost the mids? It would be nice if I could get my SR60i sounding closing to my RE0- patalp

[REVIEW] Head-Direct RE0 - a new contender for the best IEM
Haven't been on headfi for a while after buying my RE0. Accidentally put them through the washer AND dryer along with my Sansa Clip+ (killing the Clip+) but they survived and sound just as good as when I first got them. Oddly, I find them much more enjoyable for rock and metal than my Grado...- patalp

Music of the excellent variety.
Happy to hear you liked BT! Have you heard of Emery (totally unrelated to BT), but they're a really great band IMO. Make sure you listen past the 30 second intro, haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWVtOSl8UmI -

And they have a pretty long battery life (for something so tiny) ~15-20 hours and take up barely any room (I connect my IEMs, wrap up the cord and clip it in the back of the clip) in your bag or pocket. Quote:- patalp

etymotic vs re0 vs triplefi
Yeah, to my ears guitars sounded thin and weak with the TF10 in comparison to the RE0.- patalp

IEM for metal? Thinking maybe DBA-02 or Q-jays.
Quote: I'm personally not a fan of the TF10 for guitar-oriented music. The mids are, to me, too recessed.- patalp

Triple.Fi 10 pro or RE0?
Yep, but not a level above or below. The TF10 have more of a mid recessed, V signature while the RE-0 are more flat and neutral. For my ears, going from TF10 -> RE-0 was an upgrade, but obviously not for you, so it really depends on the listener's tast. Quote:- patalp

What full size headphones and IEMs do you think someone who enjoys the neutral sound of the RE-0 would also like? I hated the TF10, coming from the RE-0 because of the recessed mids. With the RE-0 everything sounds just 'right' for me, and guitars sound really full, like theres a slight emphasis...- patalp
