Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I concur. I gave them both a try yesterday and they were much comfortable than the Momentum 2.0. Momentum feels like the cup is covering 3/4s of the ears. Speaking of sound quality, I personally think the QC35 is leaps and bounds ahead of the QC25. It sounds very clear and I would...- nikp

Aussie & NZ Head-Fiers Corner
Hey folks, Looks like I had been gone to being a lurker for a while now. I have recently moved to the CBD and open headphones don't deliver quite the best experience out here. It's funny the best offering for noise cancelling cans is still from Bose after these years. How are you guys...- nikp

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]
@mechgamer Why use a fountain pen instead of a ballpoint? It's much more convenient to carry through college and cost effective too not to mention the risk of work being wiped out by a water spill. I know the arguments of a fountain pen vs a ballpoint. In fact, I used to write with the fountain...- nikp

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]
Or get a nice Pilot 78g in fine or extra fine. The pens mentioned above rarely have fine/extra-fine nibs - mechgamer's preference.- nikp

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]
A 18K nib feels a lot softer than a 14K one IMO and I can't imagine what 21K nib would feel like. This is Montblanc though so I couldn't speak for Japanese pens although the consensus in fountain pen communities is that every Japanese nib (with the exception of nibs deliberately designed to...- nikp

Best IEM'S under 100.00 with Situation Awareness
With IEMs, you won't be able to hear the person next to you with your music on even on lowest volume unless they're yelling of course which you don't really want. The Apple Earpods aren't bad at all, a huge step up from its predecessor (kudos to Apple).- nikp

Reply to review by 'nikp' on item 'Sennheiser HD 600'
I don't think it will be too redundant. HD650 being the dark headphone and DT800 the treble happy one - HD600 will sort of fit in between. :)- nikp

Hey Sofia, My tastes are very similar to yours and you will not regret the HD600, trust me on this. Very well rounded, excellent timbre. I am unsure about your amp but if it can power it then it'll be fine. There's not a lot of difference between low-mid end amps anyway. If you're...- nikp

Total Noob. HD598, DT880, or something else?
Quote: I have sold both headphones but if I were to buy one again, it would be the HD600 or HD800. To my memory, here is a short dot point summary. DT880 is brighter than the HD600 although both were considered to have an all around signature. HD600's got better timbre but...- nikp

Total Noob. HD598, DT880, or something else?
Deceit, seeing that you're a classical pianist, I would strongly advise you to get the Sennheiser HD600. It provides just the right amount of bass (by no means the bass of the HD600 is weak, it presents with authority), mids and highs to reflect the various instruments. It may as well be the...- nikp
