I want to get a cable for the HD650. Can someone tell me about SQ differences between the Claire HPC Mk2 & the Noir HPC Mk2. Is the Noir priced higher because of better build materials like the CNC splitter and sleeving or is there a SQ boost there??

Could it be that Yggy + Ragnarok is causing the impression of a drier sound. I auditioned one paired with a Violectric V281 and it produces a slightly warm sound. As good as the GSx MkII is it works best with dynamic driver headphones like Sennheiser or Focal it simply doesn't have the power...

I think jplay makes most arguments about USB not being good enough to rest. Yes I think it's that good.

Windows 8 and 10 users should try jplay. Possibly the best player. A lot better than Jriver in terms of SQ. If jplay can benefit my dac I can only dream of what it can do with Yggy as a partner. I don't own an Yggy but will sometime next year. I just keep checking the Yggy thread for user...
