Just picked up a pair of SR 80i's - should I stick with the stock pads or go to something else? I see a lot of people using sennheiser pads, but I want the best performance out of these cans. The stock flat foam pads actually are pretty comfortable, so I dont have any issues with that currently.

Im not looking for $50, Id say budget is at max $150 to 200. The SR80's just looked like a good deal and I didnt think Id be able to get much better for double the price...... I already have a very high end speaker system

I want a new pair of cans and Im debating between full size or something like the Grado SR80's. I can get them on a big discount from my work (probably about 50 percent, so Id say something like 40-50 bucks US). I assume this is really my best bet? My only concern is that the Grado's will not...

My main concern is NO distortion, does the fiio e3 have much? I dont care if it doesnt have a volume control or anything like that.

I would think going for the MOST comfortable headphones regardless of quality would be best for this....maybe something that you can still lay on your side with, and not be uncomfortable.....I know I definitely cant do that with my E2c's, they stick out way too much.

I know some IEMs come with airplane adapters and the like that claim to reduce white noise - Are there any small and cheap amps that do this as well? I was going to get the fiio e3 with a pair of used RE2's off this site, unless theres a better amp for the job.
