I thought MQA maxed at 24 bit - aptX HD also supports 24 but you need a phone that supports it (the V30 does) and headphones that can receive it (e.g., LG's Platinum Tone).- jtfrazier

Uhm, you're not trying to be snarky? You might want to try harder. Not that I disagree with you on the content - promised and delivered are certainly two different things and trackrecord does matter, but you could certainly convey the same info without being snarky,. BTW, you aren't genuinely...- jtfrazier

They did have different specs (e.g. storage) but the DAC was {UPDATE: Actually I meant to write not among...] among those differences for the V30 (except for the tuning). As you indicated, you may be thinking of the G6; you got the quad dac in the Korea but not in US (where you did get wireless...- jtfrazier

Wow, the V20 has an LCD screen, not OLED. I haven't heard of many burn-in /ghosting issues with LCD. You do have some serious bad luck.- jtfrazier

Of course. It was a great catch. Sometimes I think auto-correct is more creative than we are- jtfrazier

It only states V30 but I think that's mainly because it's the only phone (I know of) that support MQA.- jtfrazier

Definitely. While if you go all the way down, you can't simply put in a new battery. It's very rare that i get that low. I typically don't charge over night just to extend long term battery life. I have plenty for the morning and charge up quickly at work. In other words, i rarely worry about...- jtfrazier

I have mostly FLAC (and I use Tidal as well). For a streamlined solution, the LG V30 can't be beat. I love not having to worry about hooking up another device. It's always with me and works well in all circumstances. I mostly listen with my Grado 125e's which aren't high-ohm but need a little...- jtfrazier

It's not true that Neutron can only output 48 kHz. I suspect they didn't set the settings to allow for more: generic driver on, follow source frequency on. I can't speak for Black Player since I haven't tested it.- jtfrazier

Actually, I think you're right - if you go to http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-US998-Silver-lg-v30 lists the unlocked version for the US and 600 Mhz isn't listed with the bands. So, it does appear that you have to get it from TMobile.- jtfrazier
