Alright, it's definitely the cable that's faulty on my HE500.   Are there any good cables under $100? I'd hate to pay $60 on a crappy factory replacement that will just die again in under 2 more years.   Preferably one that's shorter?

Ahh! The right cup stopped working on my HE-500! I'm really hoping/thinking it's just a cable issue.    Are there any affordable options besides buying another for $60? (I'd hate to buy another exact stock one to have it die on me again)

Nope!   I used them yesterday and possibly earlier today without a problem. Can't figure out what I may have done differently to them. Really rather depressing. :(

Can static shock damage these headphones permanently?   I've had my HE-500 for almost exactly 2 years now, and today my right earcup kept making clicking noises before going almost completely dead. It now has about 5-10% the volume of the left side with random clicking or high pitched whines...

Anyone randomly get a weird buzzing sound followed by a prolonged clicking/tapping sound? It happens every couple of minutes for me. :(

How did you guys get the plastic feet on in the proper spots? Just try to get one in each corner by eyeballing it?   Are they even necessary or can I just place the Magni flat on top of the Modi without any worry?

I  have the M/M stack coming in... along with a HE-500. I hope it all goes together well. Should be much better than my current setup of a Fiio E10 and Denon D2000!

I use a Shure SE535 with my iPhone when I'm going out, but I currently use a Denon D2000 with a Fiio E10 for desktop use. The Denons are extremely comfortable for long periods of use, but I sometimes still find myself swapping to the Shure SE535s to listen to music. As a result, I'm thinking...
