I use a Shure SE535 with my iPhone when I'm going out, but I currently use a Denon D2000 with a Fiio E10 for desktop use. The Denons are extremely comfortable for long periods of use, but I sometimes still find myself swapping to the Shure SE535s to listen to music. As a result, I'm thinking about upgrading my full size headphones. Would the HE-400 be a big improvement? Or should I just keep saving up cash? (I did just order the Schiit Magni/Modi so I'm already hoping to see a difference!)

Yeah, the he400 would be the biggest difference. If you're looking to make the biggest change always start with the hp. You'll love the open ortho sound with top tier bass.

gL!!
