Fake Shure E2G? And also, an eBay warning (long)
LadyBerard, I purchased Sony EX700s from Pop-shopping and they are absolutely, ridiculously fake. It should come with 7 pairs of earbud tips but only came with 3. A complete sham. And the sound is worse than iPod stock buds. I am going to file a fraud claim through Paypal. And I am going...- JF_Aidan_Pryde

EX-81s just arrived
I bought EX-70s when they came out and loved them. I lost them. I bought EX-71s when they came out and loved them. Someone stole them. I bought the EX-81s when they came out and now I'm testing them. Impression: Package is beautiful and typically Sony. The ear buds are made...- JF_Aidan_Pryde

To all those who own EX70/71s
You can cover them with anything that'll stick, some are more reversible than others. But there's no way anyone would want to go back after the mod!- JF_Aidan_Pryde

To all those who own EX70/71s
For the love of God - mod them! I'm not asking for much, just take a tiny piece of bluetak and fill the 3 holes at the back of each bud. I bought a new pair of white EX71s to match my ipod today and gosh they sounded horrible and bloated. I came home and gave them the bluetak treatment - a...- JF_Aidan_Pryde

why ipod if it sounds bad???
Indeed where do people get these impressions? I bought my ipod simply because of the raving sound quality posts here on head-fi. And when I heard it, I totally concour. The iPod headphone out is clearly superior to my Sony G750 MD. The line out quality is superb, totally walking over...- JF_Aidan_Pryde

To all iPod owners with the track skipping problem:
Stan, I don't know if this is what you mean by skipping but I'll explain my problem. Many movie soundtracks today are relased as one long track but with track marks to separate them. Gladiator for example pretty much is continuous throughout the the entire CD. The problem is when I upload...- JF_Aidan_Pryde

AM Tuner
I am not sure that's possible. Physically, the AM signals are stuffed inside some building, and its not something a good or bad receiver can pick up.- JF_Aidan_Pryde

Some extra info on this amp the seller emailed to me: Quote: As you know I own another TA1066. I love it, its so much better than modern gear in so many ways. The quality of construction for starters, the way you get easy access to everything, the way it looks. Mine has been...- JF_Aidan_Pryde
