Fake Shure E2G? And also, an eBay warning (long)
Aug 16, 2008 at 1:58 AM Post #31 of 32
I recently bought a pair of Shure E2c's on Pop-shopping.com. These were mailed from Hong Kong. However, they did not include any additional "sleeves" with them, and they came in a velvet type of bag. They sound ok, but I wouldn't know any different, as I have nothing to compare them to. Anyone else ever purchase from Pop-shopping.com?

Please feel free to e-mail me. I may never be able to find this site again.

LadyBerard,
I purchased Sony EX700s from Pop-shopping and they are absolutely, ridiculously fake. It should come with 7 pairs of earbud tips but only came with 3. A complete sham. And the sound is worse than iPod stock buds.

I am going to file a fraud claim through Paypal.

And I am going to make sure every publication/forum knows about them.

I would Google around and see what the real packaging for your phones look like. Also, post some pictures so others can see.

We have to bring down that sham of a website.
