Graphics card generating clicks and pops
You can probably solve this problem using nibitor and rewriting the bios with your own custom rates.- Iced

Help me decide which upgrade
I assume your max price point is around 200$. I can recommend HRT Music Streamer II and an amp (E9/V-Can or Imamp) -> This will cost around 250-300$ but I highly reccomend this combo. The dac is also asynchronous. Youlong u100 Audinst Mx-1- Iced

Sound Card as DAC?
If you are not going to use a really high quality dac, you don't need one. You don't even need an amp probably, if I know correctly, Xonar don't have a true line out as it already amplifies the sound. You will be amping an already amplified sound. Using an amp will only be understandable if...- Iced

Low impedance headphones still need high current. They will not benefit from more voltage but from more current.- Iced

Receiver... or no receiver? (w/ ATH-AD700s)
I don't have ad700 but I am also interesting in buying one so I have read some reviews of it. From my readings, I think that pluging it directly to av710 will make it a little lean on the bass department. Even if you are not a basshead(maybe you are, if you were you would probably not bought it...- Iced
