V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
I can tell you that they are very good without an amp... However, someone in the thread mentioned being slightly disappointed with them, but completely changed his/her mind after pairing with a Fiio e11- HifiPenguin

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
Yes the M100s is more fun sounding than the M50. I prefer the M100s, but that is because I primarily listen to trance and hip hop, genres the M100s excel in. Like you said... The M50 is the best in value (referring to sound). It is the better well-rounded headphone of the two. However I...- HifiPenguin

Good headphones for Metal/hard rock?
Yea, I've been craving the 225i, but I am low on cash, so I ordered some new earpads for the sr80i... I heard they would make a good deal of difference. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006GCCO0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1- HifiPenguin

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Pro 900 it is. edit: and I managed to score some used ones in mint condition for $270. If me no like... I should be able to sell them without a loss. I was very skeptical about ordering them. They seem to be one of the most mentioned headphone on this forum, with tons of mixed reviews...- HifiPenguin

Good headphones for Metal/hard rock?
I have the Grado SR80s and they are very good for the price and your genres. But based on your price range, I suggest the Grado SR225, which I have heard is a lot better than the SR80s. It is the headphone I would have bought, but did not have the money for at the time.- HifiPenguin

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
Hey guys, I am looking to buy a new pair of headphones, because my V-Moda M100s were stolen last week. For edm and hip-hop the M100s did pretty well. I loved their appearance and great build quality as well. However, I am considering going a different route. I need a set of headphones that...- HifiPenguin

Should I re-buy the V-Moda M100s or get Ultrasone Pro 900s instead? (Primarily for edm and hip hop)
Hello, well my beloved M100s were stolen this week out of my backpack, so I am going to buy another set of headphones if I am unable to retrieve them from whoever took them. I loved the M100s because although many can claim that they are a bit overpriced for the sound, their unique...- HifiPenguin

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
I am not sure. I am pretty sure I have to return them broken or something... Unless you really try to physically destroy the M100s, I do not really understand how someone can break them, no matter how careless. So I am out of luck I guess. How does the headband compare on the 3 models after...- HifiPenguin

Guys my shadow version V-Moda M100s were stolen yesterday... 1 freaking day after I ordered the XL Pads and the Boom Mic for my PS4. I still have my AD700s for gaming, but I need to do the mic mod. However I no longer have headphones for all the electronic music I listen to and I am...- HifiPenguin

My V-Moda M100s were stolen... Need some options.
Well I currently own a pair of Grado SR80s, which I primarily use for rock genres. I have my AD700s for classical music, anime, and gaming. I had my M100s for electronic (especially trance) and hip hop music. So basically my M100s were my portable headphones that I took everywhere, but I...- HifiPenguin

that image could be photoshopped, but those look like M50s. The reason it looks a bit different is caused by the bad lighting. In fact I have a pair of the white ones, but owned some black ones for like 3 years.- HifiPenguin
