What about UM1's for my needs??

Save your money up for a hornet. There are some for sale on this forsale forum. There is no hiss on UM1, UM2 and ES2.- Hendrix

Why use an amp with IEMs?
Using an ES2 and the headphone jack on a 30Gig 5G Ipod you get a very low level hiss sound. Using the line out jack and a hornet and it is pure bliss.- Hendrix

BushGuy you are on the mark. I work in Memphis, Nashville, and St Louis. Great group of stations but all playing the same junk! I have a great FM-tuner at home it gets little play time anymore.- Hendrix

3 IEMs, My Opinions, Need Yours
I too had the same experence with Westone. Moving up the chain gets better. I now have the ES2 with a RS Hornet. Customs all the way for comfort and SQ.- Hendrix
