I'm talking about poorly informed purchases. It's bad that they're all buying the same product without doing research about other (potentially better) options. I would make the same argument if dozens of people started showing up with hd800s on my campus.

  I'm not a big fan. Too angular, too modern. Additionally, it seems like all of the people at my school that bought beats for the look are now being told that v-moda's have much better sound and are simply switching over without much thought.

    Just saw it live. Needed an encore at home, but no sound system will ever be able to replicate the feeling.
