I contacted them through email instead and sent them pictures.  They don't think they're fake.  I just got my FiiO E17 and they sound a lot better.

Just to clarify... these are the non-pro (oldest) version? and they have a different sound signature? Lots of websites have a picture of these but say they're pros.

They are the pro version.  It says it on them.
