I'm in the market for something to power desktop speakers in addition to dt770's. Right now I just have an old theater-in-a-box receiver and a D03k so I think that something like the Maverick A1 or Audioengine N22 would do the job better (plus have a much smaller footprint).
Is one markedly better than the other? From what I can see the A1 gets better reviews but the vertical design of the N22 takes up less space.
Are there any other options with similar functioning out there?
