    Obscure Chinese DAPs

I am currently loving my Z3. I’ve got a new opamp on the way, and can’t wait to try it. Did you post your cap replacement? I would really like to know more.

    PCDP for NOW!

I have plenty of vintage, but none seem to play cdrw's reliably. I have a d-ne300 and a d-ne330 but they both seem kind of delicate, and neither one will charge nimh batteries. I have 2 Panasonic Shockwaves but neither will play cdrw.

    PCDP for NOW!

I've been away for awhile, but that's OK because I've been enjoying my stuff. I have already searched but I can't seem to find the answer. I am looking for a PCDP that is currently (or recently) available that can play regular audio CDs (Redbook), in both CDR and CDRW, can recarge NiMH AA...

    MTP Album Art

I am now using a new NWZ-S545 which is only MTP, and I notice how little of it has album art. It looks really ugly on the Sony. On my MSC players I can place a folder.jpg into the proper folder using a program like Album Art Downloader. My question is, is there a way or a program that will...

    Sony S745 vs S545

I just got my S545 on Thursday. The tactile aspect of it is not very good. The buttons are almost indistinguishable from each other. I am constantly pressing the wrong button, this may improve as I get used to it. Other than that, it's a typically great Sony DAP. If you're not in a rush you may...

Which is your favourite Sandisk player??

I like the Clip for its size and standard USB connection, and the Fuze really is a great all around player. I would choose a Fuze over a Nano anyday. But I have a soft spot for the Connect. It's a solid player (NOT designed by Sandisk), the wireless had such potential. It's still not bad with...

Small DAP (for working out) that plays FLAC

A Clip is a sure bet. My current fave is a Teclast X19+, plays everything, with a 70+ hour playtime!

How many DAPs do you have?

I think I have a problem... 4 Apples (not including iPhone) 5 Sonys 9 Sandisk Sansas 5 iRivers 3 Creatives 2 Slackers 14 assorted brands I'm not including CD/MP3 players. In my defense, I have almost all the players I have ever bought. I gave away my first, RaveMP3. I wish I still...

I love minidisc - is that weird?

I agree. Sonic Stage 4.0 and later is a stable and easy to use program. It might not be as pretty as iTunes, but it's nowhere near as bloated. It's just one more program you have to learn and use.

Cheapest way to a 64GB + player, UMS, no iTunes required and decent battery life/SQ..?

Another option would be a Mini. Get a clean 2nd Gen, do the Compact Flash Mod and run Rockbox. It may be your cheapest way, is upgradeable to 128GB (whenever they come out), and will pretty much last forever, especially with the huge amount of parts available. I've got a 16GB, someday I'll...

    rio-volt sp120 mp3 cd player

A favorite of mine! Not the best sounding, but very versatile. You might want to load in the latest firmware, iRiver kept upggrading it long after it was off the market. BTW, this is an iRiver IMP-100.
