Auzentech won't reply to my ticket - looking for advice
Sorry to bump a several month old thread, but I am trying to revive my Forte right now. Did either of the above posters that RMAed the card look closely at the changes? Did they just send a new, stock, retail version, or did they actually make circuit edits? I'm wondering if I can get a...- diredesire

SR60 has a kind of vibration sound
try listening without pads, too, if it disappears, the hair is in the pad. This is one of my grado-est annoyances with grados- diredesire

Who should I contact...
It's easy with a PCB If you have any skills whatsoever with your hand, you should be fine. The biggest cost is going to be tools, though. If you really do not plan on building circuits/amps in the future, dont' bother investing, IMHO.- diredesire

Computer Trouble
Are you using Win XP? You can also check your system logs to get a little more information on what is going wrong. Right click my computer, go to "Manage" --> Under system tools in the left pane, click "Event Viewer" --> Applications (and system). Any red Xs will tell you something went wrong...- diredesire

How to know if it's a scam?
It's definitely a scam. The point of Craigslist is to be able to sell face to face, and get cash. They will probably say, OK cool, now that you are onboard, click this link to claim your paypal. There will probably be a paypal link, but if you hover it, you'll see it goes to something...- diredesire

Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1
I actually should add, thanks for the in depth review ROB, I was going to spring for a used prelude, but I think the PCIe flexibility is going to be good in my new board/case. I'm still running a modded Audigy2 ZS, so I'm looking forward to instalilng the Forte. I've been having some issues...- diredesire

Auzen X-Fi™ Forte 7.1
I hate you guys, and I have a personal grudge against ROBSCIX now. I just purchased the Forte, and I've been pretty good lately about not spending too much (although in my head-fi career, this is an average purchase...). I've also been taking a break from head-fi, since it has been a money...- diredesire

First CMOY Build: Help!
Shoot up a pic, you'll have a response in no time Is your amp already cased up? If it is, trouble shoot it outside of the case. Are you powering it via battery or AC/DC?- diredesire
