    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

The most important part is this: <point f="166" d="-5.5"/> <point f="333" d="-6.5"/> <point f="577" d="-3.5"/> The rest was just remains of my experiments. What I'm trying to do is get rid of the congestion and nasal voices. It's not perfect as while voices are not that...

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

    Quick fix using Equalizer APO kinda fixes major pain points. Will continue experiments but here's current config: <equalizationeffect> <curve name="celestee"> <point f="10" d="0"/> <point f="21" d="0"/> <point f="42" d="0"/> <point f="83" d="0"/>...

    Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

Let's just keep in mind that Denons are more like semi closed than closed - they leak sound both ways. As for Celestee I have very mixed feelings. Out of the box they were just unacceptable - everything was cramped and nasal with almost no details. After a full day of burn-in, most in the box to...

    Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model

I have both DX90 and ZX1 so I guess I can comment. Sound wise I prefer Sony - just a bit but still. If You earphones don't require high power then it's a good solution. DX90 is a better choice for more demanding ones

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?

Quote:   Although they may be hard to swap channels it's not impossible - and imbalance like I have in my phones received this week is simply huge. If it's a common issue then it clearly suggests a quality control problems - definitely not a good sign

    IE7s for Sony X1060

IE7 has a quite good synergy with Sony X series so You shouldn't be disappointed. I should however clarify one thing - it's not NC 020 hissing, it's Your player. If You want to get rid of hiss You should look for IEMs with higher impedance or start using amplifier

    New iPod Family!

Quote: Apple tells You what to buy? We're living in free countries and enjoy free market (at least most of us :) ) so I don't really get Your point. If You are not satisfied with something just don't buy it instead of complaining how much better it might have been. And don't insist that...

    New iPod Family!

Quote: It's not only a DAP so if You're buying it for that purpose only You're obviously choosing the wrong one. I don't see any fanboyism if someone states it has touchscreen and so on - the purpose of itouch is not only to play the music. It's n-in-1 product and serves that purpose quite...

    New iPod Family!

Quote: I do notice it on both IE8 and MTPC - it's pretty annoying especially if I compare it to Sony's own S639, And ipod's sound is definately not crappy - at least not iTouch 2G/3G. Although I prefer both my Sony's I have no problem with listening to my music from iTouch 2G - and using...

    New iPod Family!

Quote:   Nano is missing the crucial thing to be usable for high levels activity - real buttons. Do You want to pick player from your belt or pocket just to skip the song?
