Hi FX700 owners, can anyone comment on fx700 vs hd650?  I know they are totally different, I just want some info about how they compare on the relative amount of bass, mid, and high in the whole spectrum.  Thanks~~

I just read some really good things about JVC HA-FX700.  Definitely a good candidate.  My worry about SM2 is its 119 dB/mW sensitivity sitting right between too high and ok...  Now need to read more about the Monster Turbine~~

I've been using my iBasso d2+ boa with um3x, and I like them. You can always buy a cable lod for you iPod.

I just got my HD 650 for 315 and I love them~~  While some people claim these to be dark sounded, I think they are pretty balanced.

I received my pair from Dakmart today for $315.  I only have a iBasso D2+ Boa, but they are already stunning to me with this amp!  HD 650 has officially replaced Um3x as my favorite listening device~~

I think I can at least help you kick A900 out.  Personally I find its bass a bit shallow, and not with a strong impact, although quite clean.  And mids is a bit recessed.
