Hi-ho from Germany, dear Head-Fiers!

I use to read here for about the last ten years.

Since then I've owned round about 50 headphones (from DT231 up to HD800), but they are/were mainly open ones.

My experience with closed headphones is very little.

Well, finally, I've decided to register to ask you an (at least for me) important question:

Which headphone of the ones I'll type the name of here suites the needs I have best?!

My needs ("perfect headphone"):

The cans should be over-ear built.

The cans should work out of an headphone amp as well as out of a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card.

soundstage: small to average size
bass: strong (defined, but not overpowering)
bass impact: strong to very strong
mids: good resolution, not recessed (maybe only slightly recessed)
highs: not too harsh (the lesser the sibilance is, the better it is for my taste)
comfort: very good (it should easily be able to be worn several hours at a time)

PRICE: max. 200 €uros

The competitors:

Ultrasone HFI-580
Shure SRH-750 DJ
Audio-Technica ATH-M50S
Sony MDR-XB 500
Sony MDR-XB 700

Maybe too expansive:

[Audio-Technica ATH-A900]
[beyerdynamic DT770/250 Ed.05]
[Denon AH-D2000]

On-Ear ones:

[Sennheiser HD25-1 II]
[beyerdynamic DT250/250]
[Klipsch Image ONE]

So you see, I know what I want, but I'm not sure how to get it.

If you think, that there is any other headphone that could satisfy my needs, than let me know it.

m50 has recess mid. I believe the best from your list is the ultrasone hfi 580.
I want to recormmend the discontinued hd 250 II but they have recess mids and I'm not sure if they will run out of a creative sound card

I think I can at least help you kick A900 out.  Personally I find its bass a bit shallow, and not with a strong impact, although quite clean.  And mids is a bit recessed.
