Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
I move around so I tend to use BT DAC/AMPs (w/EQ). I alternate between the EarStudio es100 and Qudelix 5k. For my ears (it's subtle) I notice a little fuller/dynamic sound with the es100 and a little more clarity on the 5k, but both are really good. Sometimes I use the ifi xDSD/Audio Player...- Cuebbing

This has been my experience as well. Graphs can help me find candidates (for good/great bass ear buds) but in the end are just another data point. For me, with all of the opinions, options, info, etc, I have to hear them in person. It's a hassle and I'm usually disappointed but the good...- Cuebbing

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
I have the Sony ex800st/ex1000/Z5/XB90EX. With mine the ex800st (w/tape mod, EQ, dac/amp) hands down tops the other three (and most IEMs I have heard) for bass, quantity & quality. My only other IEMs that can hang with them are the ASG 2.5 and EE Legend X. For overall sound the Legend X easily...- Cuebbing

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
I have had positive experiences dealing with EE this year since the Covid 19 impacts started. Maybe I'm lucky but I sent an IEM set for diagnosis/repair as well as order a new IEM set and in both instances had quick turnaround. I received status updates for every step and every email I sent...- Cuebbing

Are high price IEM's even worth it anymore? Where's their place now?
Definitely all subjective. For me, heck ya 'some' expensive IEMs are worth it. IEMs as a whole have been improving over time. Enough that I don't see myself buying headphones again. The recent rise of low cost/Chi-fi IEMs has been good to see. I have plenty of good/very good ones. I have a...- Cuebbing

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Unfortunately this has become the case for the majority of "brands" from when I was a kid.- Cuebbing

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I have seen a good amount of positive feedback on the Liberty 2 Pro so on a whim I bought a pair yesterday. Initial impression/opinion is that for music (EDM/Club and Rock/Metal) these are the best TWS buds I have tried (dynamic w/good bass). I have a decent collection of IEMs including TWS to...- Cuebbing

The Hi-Fi + Hi-Res Audiophiles' Bluetooth Headphone Adapter Thread - [17.Oct.21] iFi GO Blu impression added
If you come across a shirt clip like the ReadeREST that works with the Qudelix 5k please let us know (I'll do the same). I'd rather not glue/tape if I can avoid it. I got the Qudelix 5k this week. I wish the 2.5/3.5 plug faced down when clipped on my t-shirt collar. With it facing up it puts...- Cuebbing

The Hi-Fi + Hi-Res Audiophiles' Bluetooth Headphone Adapter Thread - [17.Oct.21] iFi GO Blu impression added
Wanted to say thank you for the shirt clip recommendation. I had bookmarked it and took my time ordering one. It is marketed as an eye glasses holder/clip. For BT adapters I wasn't sure if it was going to make much of difference but now that I'm using it I like it. Especially nice with...- Cuebbing

The Legend X has two W9 woofers (Nemesis does also) and, as you'd probably expect, provides significantly more bass. That said, to me the bravado is still bassy and a fun IEM. I have the Sony XB90, Z5, MDR EX800ST, & ASG 2.5. For me the ASG 2.5 puts out more bass than the XB90. If you don't...- Cuebbing

I have the TFZ No3, FIIO FH7 & FH5. To me they are all 'bassy' but not what I think of as 'basshead'. Of the three the FH7 is my preferred, more of an audio 'complete package'. With EQ I can get the bass to thump pretty good.- Cuebbing

I had the same thought. I was close to ordering the Legacy 9 but at the time there was a bit of a wait before I'd receive them so like you I decided to wait for more people try them. I've made enough expensive mistakes to last for a while. I'm not sure about Bggar reviews/rec's anymore. There...- Cuebbing
