The unit has an input, output and a usb charging port. As for the gain, I am unsure as it only comes with a default gain. However, considering the size of it, i guess its only suited to iems.

i agree too with the mini. I love the mini in my car. Then again, the sound quaility in a car isn't what we can say audiophile grade.

I used to own the Triple-Fi till I sold them off to get the SE530. The se530 has better midrange than the triple-fi. Soundstage wise I also feel that the se530 wins.

I agree the the rest that transmitters for ipods aren't very good. I tried to use my previous transmitter for a creative player on my ipod and the sound was crap, it was partially static. Get an aux in. It does wonders.

Well, I personally had a 555. Was running off the ipod with hornet. When I compared it with a 640c as the source, the 555 sounded so much better. Thus the source is usually the bottleneck in most setups.

Hi, I am looking to make a rca-rca interconnect from cdp to amp. Currently looking at the canare starquad cable and neutrik rca jacks. Can I ask, is there a better cable than the starquad one can use for rca-rca?
