i find a flawed stereo setup more enjoyable than headphones, mostly. its easier to listen casually with speakers as well. headphones are more so planned and intimate. the end.

althoguh doesnt the ha-2 have the 120 ohm jack? do you ahve the same problem out of both of the headphone jacks?

i tried it 2 years ago, when i owned the sr-225s. all i can remember is that i prefered the 225s w/o it.
