Based on your requirements, I think you'd gain a lot of value from a used pair of Denon D2000s if you can find them in your price range.    Additionally, you could look into some DT770 80ohms, closed as well but with stronger bass emphasis if that's what you're about.

You might want to consider alternate layouts if you're at all interested in a more compact desk setup. I've seen a lot of cool 84 key layouts like the noppo choc mini that might do well by you.

I second the V-Moda M80 choice. The design is slightly masculine but it sounds leaps and bounds better than anything "by Dre".

Just bought a pair of DT990's on Massdrop. Looking forward to hearing what the 600ohm versions sound like. and $260 was a steal.
