sub 250 upgrade from ad700
Based on your requirements, I think you'd gain a lot of value from a used pair of Denon D2000s if you can find them in your price range. Additionally, you could look into some DT770 80ohms, closed as well but with stronger bass emphasis if that's what you're about.- BaudlyDamage

On another Massdrop related note, M-Stage Amp is back up. Apparently they had to increase the price because of costs on Matrix's end but at $185 it still the best price anywhere by $50-$60. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/matrix-headphone-amp-2- BaudlyDamage

Best keyboards for gaming!
You might want to consider alternate layouts if you're at all interested in a more compact desk setup. I've seen a lot of cool 84 key layouts like the noppo choc mini that might do well by you.- BaudlyDamage

Matrix M-Stage DAC now available for $199! I bought in a while ago but the group just got big enough to drop the price! Market price for these is almost $300, it might be worth buying some just to flip online. Either way, here's the link. The buy is only on for another couple hours...- BaudlyDamage

Wow this is complicated stuff ! Have my choice narrowed down to four, or five, or maybe six choices.
I second the V-Moda M80 choice. The design is slightly masculine but it sounds leaps and bounds better than anything "by Dre".- BaudlyDamage

Need some advise on a high end portable headphones
When you say "High End" I'm not sure what you mean. The Edition 8 is certainly high end but your comments about the P3 have me confused. I have experience with the B&W P5 and P3; I was decidedly underwhelmed. Since you're not interested in using an amp, you're going to want something with...- BaudlyDamage

Quote: Committing to a buy means that you only purchase it if enough people sign up to get it to the lowest price drop. I already committed so that means only 14 more need to commit/but for me to get the amp at $165.- BaudlyDamage

Group buy on the Matrix M-Stage Headphone Amp http://massdrop.com/matrix-headphone-amp You've gotta make an account but damn $165 if 15+ people get in or commit, nuts. I've never seen it for that low, even used.- BaudlyDamage

Dishonored 9.5/10 When I started playing this game I was pretty under impressed. Felt like someone mixed jak and daxter with the unreal engine, threw in some steampunk and this was the result. Then I went and played it again. During my second playthrough I went about everything...- BaudlyDamage

Advice > Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO + Audiotrak Prodigy CUBE ?
HRT Music Streamer II is a good dac for that price. The DT990 Pro is pretty lame, I'm a big fan of the premium. if you're still interested, check this out. This site does group buys on request. Right now they are running one for the beyer DT990s, all impedances are included. Lowest price...- BaudlyDamage
