I am wondering if there are any quality budget tube amps under $250? Looking to pair with 6XX. I had the cavalli tube amp which I liked, but there were QC issues and I went through 3 of them before selling the last one. Love my Asgard 3, but miss the tube sound sometimes.

I got a balanced cable from Hart Audio and really like it. They have some around that price point.

All existing Clear OG stock was bought out by headphone.com as I understand it. The owner basically admitted it so. It is actually under $1,000 now and through December comes with a $100 headphone.com gift card.

I have a Schiit Asgard 3 amp. Would that have enough power to run the HE6se? I currently have the Ananda which I like, it hear that the HE6se is a step up potentially.

Word of caution, their support is non existent right now. Their American website is under construction, they have no support email on their global website, and Jet Audio which used to be their repair service company in the USA no longer services Cowon products. My volume wheel got messed up and...

I have looked at the HE6se in the past, but I only have an Asgard 3 which I have been told multiple times does not have enough power to truly get the best out of the HE6se and thus the headphones would be a waste unless upgraded my amp too which I don’t have the money for.

I thought I was going to make this BF unscathed… that is until I saw a like-new Ananda from Amazon Warehouse for $475….
