Recommend me a pair of cheap closed cans
I'm interested in the Superlux range, but I'd really prefer to buy a "brand name" headphone. I own some Yuin PK3s and they always short on me.- 1337

Recommend me a pair of cheap closed cans
Sorry for making a 2nd thread about a recommendation, but I really need help. I've just purchased a Grado SR-60i (haven't received it as yet). I bought this due to the recommendations for metal, easy to drive, etc. However, I originally wanted a closed-style pair of headphones (I live with...- 1337

Headphone Sightings 2
I've seen quite a few Beats on campus today. The power of marketing. Oddly Skullcandy and Bose isn't popular where I'm from, but Beats seems to be the shizznit.- 1337

New JVC HA-M5X headphone- another large budget can
How would you compare them to the HA-RX700? Also, a bit off topic, but I'm seeing 2 HA-RX700 users, if adjusted properly on ear, do they have much leakage?- 1337

Haha, I understand the benefits of purchasing used (value, burnt-in, etc). But I'd would prefer not to, as I like the experience of unboxing the item. I've read that the M50 while extremely good, has powerful bass... and I'm guessing it can overpower my music, what I originally wanted...- 1337

I'm seeing fantastic reviews on the JVC HA-RX700. Some reviewers said that it doesn't leak much sound while others say the opposite. What's your take on this? I can't afford to be waking up my roommates, they will kill me. Also, how does it compare to the following "cheap"...- 1337

Hi, the metal bands I listen to are Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Destruction, Megadeth, Judas Priest, etc I like the buzzsaw guitar tone that bands above use and I don't really care for bassy headphones. Headphones specifications: Not looking to spend more than 100USD Over ear...- 1337
