I think the 681 with the filter mod isn't far behind either.

Speaking of velvet/velour, are the pads on the 2050 actual velour or are they a velvet?

Not sure, the Hi2050 ear pads are not as smooth as Beyer's Velour ear pads.
So either a poorer quality Velour or it's Velvet.

Penmarker thank´s for reply,

but it will be the same sound HSR-1000 vs Pro 80 ?? anyone knows??

It looks like someone took the Takstar Pro 80 and renamed it Gemini HSR-1000.
The TakStar Pro 80 sells for $88 on eBay, ships from Asia.

Well, I took a bite and nabbed the Takstar 2050, I'll write a little report when I'm done burning them in/listening.

I'd love to know what you think of them. I've been looking at them for some time now, still waiting on pulling the trigger.

After buying the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro and having to send them back to repair due to clipping at high volume (hopefully mine was defective and not a design flaw), I am considering giving a try to either the Takstar Pro80 or the Gemini's. If only they had a removable cable...

The Takstar Hi2050 is a good value at $70. I think it's the best under $100 headphone made.
it's Velour/Velvet ear pads are fairly comfortable.

will do, according to USPS, "Origin Post is Preparing Shipping". I guess that was the only bummer buying it from China, the wait :p

I'm so exited to hear these I've read multiple reviews in different languages across the internet with great things to say. (Thank you google translate)
