Obscure Chinese DAPs

I would have suggested the Benjie T6 because its gapless implementation works really well!

Just had a look at that. Similar shape as my xDuoo x3. The form factor of the Ruizu looks perfect for me. A bit like my husband's Shandling which I have held in my hand.
I think I will be happy with it for what I want it for... something small and lightweight that I can slip into the pocket of lightweight summer shorts. It looks beautiful in the photos I have seen. Looking forward to it.

It's a gorgeous little DAP and the build quality is superb. You'll love it.

It's the first time I see the "V2S", is it a new version? Seems quite a pleasant upgrade.

Unfortunately the no-screen/gui is a deal breaker for me, what's the best bang for buck for about 35$ among the most recent releases? good battery and sd support is a must, the better the sound the best obviously. Would probably use it with mp3 and a few ape/flac, so don't need millions of playable formats. Bluetooth would be a nice plus

Anything better out there than IQQ C18 for the same price/SQ level?

Not sure what you mean by "better" but personally I prefer the Benjie T6 although both DAPs have their shortcomings. The Ruizu A50 is also a great little DAP and I prefer it over the T6 in almost every way except sound. Take that last one with a grain of salt because I haven't spent much time with the A50 yet.

I was close to getting this one, but opted for the C18. I think a newer one is being launched soon:
AGPtek Rocker
Are you not liking the C18? I really like mine. A couple of quirks but I really like the sq.

I'm anxious to hear your impressions on the sound once you've had some more time with the A50. I need to consider replacements if/when the xduoo X3 dies.

Second revision of the Nintaus X10_S (Upgrade version), it became much more interesting in comparison with the first version.

Nothing comes up with a search for Nintaus X10S on Ali. Where did you find this? Taobao?

They do not write X10_S, early they wrote simply "Upgrade Version", but now probably the first version is no more in selling, but it is better to ask the seller.

I bought in Penon Audio, but there are offers cheaper, just type in search Nintaus X10 - https://goo.gl/1Rzn7y

P.S. The complete kit must include a silicone case. Believe me, this is a very useful thing ))

Has anyone seen Philips X1? Many sellers are selling it for $110
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...Player-Support-256GB/2961134_32816575523.html

I have seen this one offered many times before and several other Philips branded stuff too.
I seriously doubt if these players are really Philips... The Philips WE know.
This looks a bit like an IQQ C18 with a different cover.
It is offered mainly on AliExpress by 1 seller and I also saw in at Yoybuy, Chinaglobal, Taobao and some other chinese stores.
Somehow I can't imagine Philips would use the same OS as the Nintaus and the IQQ.
It looks like a nice product but for now I would stay away from it until there is more information.

There are models with 8, 16, 32 and 64GB (SA8208, SA8216, SA8232, SA8264) but only the 32GB model is sold it seems.
On Chinaglobal there are many buyer reviews a la AliExpress. What I read there is that the key response is a bit sluggish and that the sound is good compared to the phone (duh).

Design looks like legit Philips though.
