I bought the i5 to use it with my Westone W60, and the pairing is magnificent!
Now i'm trying to use the Cayin with my Mojo, but with no luck.
I have an OTG adapter and, although the Mojo seems to accept the signal (red light on), no sound comes from the Chord.
So i tried the Onkyo Player and it works fine, but with the Cayin app it doesn't.
I could use the Onkyo app, but there is no folder navigation...

I did more tests with USB audio. With Cayin app, Usb Audio Player Pro and Onkio Player i can hear some clics during music reproduction. That's very annoying and makes it unusable with my Mojo. Wonder if the Cayin usb to spdif works better...

Hi,

Can this do USB-C OTG and is it reliable or hit-and-miss?

Thanks.

I've got a NAS drive on my network and I'm trying to play FLAC files off of it with my i5. I can navigate the menu's and get to the files, but when I try to play one I get an error/crash message everytime.

Any thoughts on this?

It does not work? Just a gimmick?

Here's a weird issue: I just got a used Beyer DT 770 PRO 250 off of eBay. Unfortunately, the headphones are defective. When I tested them on my phone and laptop, the left channel didn't work at all.

Strangely, when I try to listen with my i5, no sound is produced at all. However, when I placed the jack in the line-out (out of curiosity), the right channel played only (just like with my phone and laptop). I'm sending the headphones back, but I just had no idea why it wouldn't play at all out of the headphone jack on the i5. Any ideas? Just curious...

Hi, otg works flawlessly with sd cards, but it seems not perfectly working with an external usb dac. I'm trying to use the i5 with my Mojo but i can hear some small clics during reproduction.
I know that we have a Cayin guy here, i'm curious to know what he thinks about this. I tried both with an otg adapter and a usb-C to usb micro cable, same results. I'm not happy with this.

So I got TIDAL working flawlessly on the i5! I decided to try using USB Audio Player as I use it with my tablet/Tidal/Mojo setup and wouldn't you know, works amazing! Not stuttering at all. Also streaming over my network works fantastic. Really jazzed about this!

As in you're routing Tidal through UAPP? Either way, yes or no can you please explain in a bit more detail?
