Found some JVC HAF130B that were given to me a couple of years ago. Sound is OK needs BI. I also need some foams for them. None came in the box. Ordered the Awei ES12i and thinking about one more pair and I'm good.

Got Vido with Mic. Good but I am feeling that the one without mic has some more details than with mic. It seems to be some beats and thumps are missing in Mic version. Not sure if this is initial feeling and with some usage, it will sound same like without mic one. Did anyone notice this?

Oui, exactly.
I use point to buy a seller 6$ off (Aliapp) on 70$ order plus extra 4$ coupon. This seller is banned here and I have problem in the past with him too...shipping can be super long and quality check isn't always there but price is unbeatable must of time so for cheap person like me I can deal with an untrustable seller.

I choose the 64ohm version.

Yeah, had to go to explorer to view that as it wouldn't go to it in Firefox :)

Looks better but not sure it will be that supple from the look of it. Hope it doesn't try to push the buds out when moving around. Though under $7 so not much risk.

Just a quick update from my previous post on the DIY PK2.

Back to my criticism of detail retrieval and soundstage, for the former I can hear some improvement. I was listening to 'The Chopin Project' by Olafur Arnalds & Alice Sara Ott and in Track 3 I could hear the violinist breathing, fingers moving down the neck of the violin, and nuances of notes being played. I think the level of detail is no longer a concern for me, it is more than good enough.

Soundstage is less clear cut. So far with the music I have listened to, some recordings fill the stage quite nicely, others have a closed in feel, e.g. Yann Tiersen's 'Amelie', while more complex compositions such as Mahler's 5th and Mozart's Requiem both show signs of congestion.

So I still have reservations about the soundstage. However I cannot deny the fact that when the right music is paired with the DIY PK2, it can sound fabulous, it has a certain quality which draws you into the music, so engaging.

In other news, the EPK1 has landed in my country so I am hoping to receive it in a day or two. Looking forward to hear how it sounds.

Vido with mic lacks complete details. Just heavy sound I am hearing and no details at all it seems. Still giving it some time. Need to compare with and without mic together to confirm this.

I have the Vido with mic and have to disagree, it is detailed and airy sounding. Give it the extra time you mention or maybe try it with donut foams? You also have to remember the price point we´re dealing with and so far the Vido´s price to performance is unbeatable.
