Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
I don't remember seeing a technical note for the update, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Here's hoping they can get it to work with all outputs, eventually.- ratmice

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
I'm playing CD quality FLAC files. As I mentioned the MSEB within HiBy app works fine, but the system wide doesn't seem to affect output. @xenithon I am listening on BT headphones (Sennheiser HD-1), as those are what I have available ATM. Update: So after cabling the headphones, it works. So...- ratmice

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
So, Im playing around with the "new" update and system wide MSEB and I have question because I can't seem to get it to do anything. As I play with the sliders the sound profile does not change. After adjusting the sliders, turning the MSEB on/off does not change the music in any way. Maybe I'm...- ratmice

Any ideas on the weird DSD display? Also, are there reports of Plex not working on the R6 Pro? I can't get any video to play, it locks up the app.- ratmice

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
So, Is anyone having trouble playing video from plex app. Everytime I try the app locks up. It works fine for my music library, and other apps, like VLC, don't have any problem with videos I try to play. I just upgraded plex to the latest version this morning from Google Play hoping that would...- ratmice

I see your point, it's just the icons on the buttons seem to be in disagreement, no biggie, just a curiosity. Thanks for taking time to answer.- ratmice

Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP
New R6 Pro owner here, really liking the unit so far. 2 quick questions: 1. the transport buttons seem to be backwards. The play button triangle points toward the top of the device, the top skip button, which points in the same direction, actually skips backwards, while the bottom button, whose...- ratmice

1/4" F to 1/8" M headphone adaptor (iPhone compatible)
I didn't mean to imply that it's shoddy kit, I'm familiar with Neutrik quality parts. The cable comes fully assembled I assume? The miniplug barrel unscrews and comes off the "back" of the plug assembly (and the cable goes through it) so yes it would unscrew from the plug but how do you get... -
1/4" F to 1/8" M headphone adaptor (iPhone compatible)
That is a good length, but, and there's always a but, the barrel is to wide so wrapping with tape will just not do :-) If you mean to remove the barrel and just apply a little tape instead, I'm not willing to do that either as you will have to cut the cable to get the barrel off. I am also... -
1/4" F to 1/8" M headphone adaptor (iPhone compatible)
That does seem to be a cable, however the cable is much too long (for my use I need 4-6" as in OP) and the 1/8 miniplug barrel is much too large to fit the iPod with case. -
1/4" F to 1/8" M headphone adaptor (iPhone compatible)
Guess I get to reply to my own post. I ended up getting an offer from a cable maker to produce this for me. He may begin general production of them as there is a serious lack in the marketplace. Bye. -
1/4" F to 1/8" M headphone adaptor (iPhone compatible)
Okay, I read a bunch of threads here regarding an adaptor, but it seems that there was not a good consensus. I recently purchased a replacement cable for my Sennheiser HD-25 1 II's and it came terminated with a 1/4" male plug. I need to occasionally attach it to an iPhone 5 that has a 1/8"...- ratmice

REVIEW: Go Vibe Petite DAC/AMP vs. D1
Hello all, I have been diving in to the portable scene here, and I must say my head is exploding (in a good way). I think I have decided to go for the Petite as my amp/DAC. but I have a couple of questions: A little background - I will be using this primarily for my iPod and laptop, both...- ratmice
