lol i thought i was the only one recable this HPM62 for general use/portable.. i found this HPM62 from the drawer, it seems came from Soner K750i that belong to my wife long time ago.. but vary from yours, mine are quite warm, very forward vocal with lots of midbass, great details and good...- iQEM

I usually add silicon autosil as thin layer to avoid the reverb from plastic housing..and I only use dynamat to sealing the gap between baffles and the driver capsule or on the driver edge.. it would make the driver sound more focused, more solid body..- iQEM

ah yes, so NAD is the one that got 1 wider (than in T50v0) diameter yellow mineral wool.. i still think its the best factory dampener though, couldn't find a better replacement for it.. this is the stock form of T50, right? courtesy of mr.Takato the koss pads very much comfy on NAD, acting as...- iQEM

yes, please remember that these share are based on my setup, preferences, personal flavor but i prefer my NAD RP18 (kapton) modded VS T50v0.. and then i prefer T30 silver fork/jpn version modded than my NAD modded.. so, i choose the duo T30's over many neo ortho..even if i haven't got a chance...- iQEM

@ruhenheiM: of course, Fostex'en oldies ortho are rules! this Victor HP-D50 modded actually not bad at all, it sound similar to NAD modded..that's why i call it "baby NAD" back in the old days.. not to forget that, this only a low-to-mid level of Victor ortho..wondering how impressive are the...- iQEM

@Feilong4: nice, so T30 are 77's production.. its sure lighter than T50's since the size are more midsize like those entry level Grado's.. so, which version that you have purchased, the black or silver fork? you might want to try put on beats Detox pads than keep using the stock flat pads...- iQEM

@ WallofHooligans: yup, the silver fork are more fragile than the black one.. well, what i'm gonna complain about? they're 80's production..what most important to me that its sound gorgeous.. but really, its should using fork or struts that made from metal, just like their predecessors T50's...- iQEM

wooow, that NAD mylar looks cooler&comfy..:) from what i remember, i cannot stand the weight (feeling on my head) on their stock form much more than 3-4 hours usage..is this leather suspension fix that problem?- iQEM

nah, the mineral dust avoided by felt+tapes covering the driver.. sorry, mistypo there..its using transpore tapes, not micropore.. Well here's some pict of it..i couldn't find much photo's of it left, since its a long gone now.. its an HP1 aniso, but i copy the whole scheme from YH100 Questa...- iQEM

i dont quiet sure are there any posibilities the diff caused by that issue or not.. but from what i remember, rotating the magnet lining could cause a difference result on their sonic wave... you might check this out... it known as a standart/factory magnet lining position from a stock T20v1...- iQEM
