iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!
I've had a good experience with the MandarinES Symbio W from the head-fi user that sells 'em on ebay. Ordered two sets (6 pairs) for my IEM's. Also received the F9/F9 pro's stock balanced cable to try, supposedly way less microphonics than the RC-MMCXB. It'll probably be a downgrade compared...- ddr

HIBY R6 - DAP Dual DAC Balanced Out - Great Reviews and Over 500% Funded @ Indiegogo!
Id be more than willing to crowdfund a unit for someone on xda to develop a custom rom with constant updates for a few years. My oneplus one never sees the light of day except when i’m bored and flash it once in a while for fun; its still being developed for roms for usability and security...- ddr

it’d be interesting to see the effects of a usb-otg wifi adapter on wi-fi performance and sound inteference. curiosity aside, HiBy will probably respond with a reason or solution.- ddr

HIBY R6 - DAP Dual DAC Balanced Out - Great Reviews and Over 500% Funded @ Indiegogo!
For wi-fi, you can use an app such as Wifi Sweetspots and/or run a speedtest and compare different devices at the same spot. Using a single app such as Tidal will not single out the problem between the device, device firmware/software, or the app compatibility.- ddr

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
Im sure at least some of you read about speculation that Spotify will come out with their own hardware soon (car streamer etc.). It makes total sense if they would avoid letting a great device such as the R3 dip into that. Unless this streamer comes with data, there are many other choices.- ddr

HIBY R6 - DAP Dual DAC Balanced Out - Great Reviews and Over 500% Funded @ Indiegogo!
if IGG was refundable, this would give users a choice to pay extra to buy it asap from Penon. Having said that, can I pay extra to HiBy to ship mine out tomorrow? haha perhaps for future projects, they should leave a larger time gap between when funding ends and when retailers would get stock...- ddr

HIBY R6 - DAP Dual DAC Balanced Out - Great Reviews and Over 500% Funded @ Indiegogo!
i think about a hundred made a week is decent. As long as we get our hands on one before a better dap comes out I think we’ll be happy. Something to note, there are a lot of reputable sellers on Taobao claiming to have the R6’s in stock for RMB 3,298, which is about the same price as IG. If...- ddr

Just submitted the order on IGG, hopefully I'll receive mine before the end of April. Almost wanted to just go with the R3 which is available to order in 2.5 hours. Currently looking for a micro-sd card and waiting for the MITER case to come out.- ddr

and ... I just pulled the trigger on the R6. I don't commute much, and I can't bear spending any amount of $ for something I can't sonically (?) differentiate. Not saying the R3 is something like that, just want a bigger jump from just a smartphone. It'll probably be overkill for the IT01's I...- ddr

im listening to the IT01 from an iPhone right now, how big of a benefit would the Q1mkii or Q5 be? I was looking at the HiBy R3 that comes out soon but with Apple Music it can only BT, which can be done with other cheaper BT streamers. If the Q5 is that much better, the price range almost...- ddr

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
I can appreciate this functionality, but at the end of the day, a user such as myself would be trying to maximize audio quality (on a budget). My next question is, after the BT-stream, would the audio quality be similar to something like the BTR1 or AK XB10 with an iPhone?- ddr

I'm mainly an Apple Music user at the moment. How useful would something like this be compared to a standalone amp/dac connected to and iOS device, or a full-fledged android dap (more $$)?- ddr

Earphones // Android // Volume // Mic // Track
Wondering if anyone has recommendations for decent commuter earphones with volume control, next/previous track buttons, and a microphone for use on any Android phone. I was looking at the multi IEM shootouts and were interested in the ThinkSound TS02+mic or the Beyerdynamic MMX101iE but either...- ddr
