The headphones are always closed. The Plates are for styling purposes and do not affect the isolation.

Hi @ll. The DT1350 has a little bit more pressure and a shorter Headband compared to the first T50p versions. Also the headband (metal,covered by plastic parts, not plastic completely!) is split and can be opened (similar to the HD25 headband). The earpads are the new ones which are also used...

Hi @all.   I really can not follow the impressions about the T50p being "nasal" this is definitifely not the case.   I had them during easter weekend and tried out a lot at home and out on the street. And they sounded right. Maybe it is a thing of " i heard them being nasal and i expect...

@ TheMonkey: i'm not talking Marketing BS so far - it takes a lot of time to select/ match all parts, ensure the quality level and then manufacture the T1...beyer surely would love to have much more available in shorter time.

to all who are waiting: we do our best to fulfill all orders as soon as possible - but sometimes, the world is not enough;-) honestly, the success of the T1 exceeded all expectations and we want to give ever customer the same quality and manufacturing level. so if it takes a little bit more time...

@ odigg I found the HD 800 also to be a really good headphone,maybe i interpreted it as a "wow" effect, but when i listened to the T1, i was more comfortable with this one, as i said, more "honest", classical music sounds incredibly natural through the T1, also Rock.

The T1 is more "honest" regarding the tonal spectrum imo, more "straight". It does not have the "WOW" effect of the HD800 at a first glance, but when listening longer time, you get all instruments as they are (my opinion!) Regarding a possibly planned downgrade, i can't say anything at the...

The T1 definitevely does NOT sound like the HD 800 ;-) I assure you :-)
