i would recommend to get a used dac from this forum itself. Check the sales section. You will find some good deals. Recently i got dacport lx for 95$. Its almost new.

Guys, can some one give their recommendation.   I am planing to have a dedicated source for my FLAC collection. Presently I use my Laptop as source. I also have a Bottlehead crack amp, Centrance Dacport LX and HD650. So, by using a separate Amp and DAC does, XDUOO X3 vs FIIO X3 2nd or FIIO X5...

Many recommended HD598, compared to HD600, HD650, HD700 for movies and games, when i was searching for one. Also HD598's are only 180$.

Use with Comply T-500 for better Bass, comfort and tight fit. I am on my 2nd set as comply tips easily wear with the use. You can expect for atleast 8-10 months with regular use.

So, is the V10 dac better than a seperate dac, which is in my case dacport lx?

I am planning to order one from Massdrop. I currently own a HD650 with Bottlehead crack and Dacport LX . Can any one give their view on how AKG K7XX will compare against HD650? And if it is worth to buy or not?

Got new Fiio X2 2nd Gen. Used it for few days. But did not feel the clarity is much different or better to my Razer Blade 15. But the amp section of Fiio X5 did better job than my RB. Fiio was able to drive my HD650 almost 30% louder compared to RB with out issues.

Can any one tell me , if LG V10 can power a portable USB dac like Dacport LX through OTG cable? because I am trying to upgrade from Xperia z1 to LG V10. My XZ1 was not able to power Dacport LX using OTG.

HI,   Thank you for the reply.   My total budget is $500 for now. 400 goes for Amp and I am looking around 100$ for the DAC (which is temporary), I will buy a new dac once  I save some more money. So, I found Schiit Modi which is 79$ for new one in amazon.
