Use of FiiO E07k vs E10k?
So basically except features, E17K and E10K have similar sound signature is it? I am planning to buy E10K since my E17K's battery got bloated, so I guess plugging it to PC all the time is not good for battery powered Amp/DAC- samu

FiiO E17K Review
Ah ya right. Sorry about that. What I mean was using E17K as a DAC via usb and then connect it to E6 as amp through LineOut.- samu

FiiO E17K Review
So whats the difference between the line out and the headphone jack? Why does it sounds so different? What does that mean direct line level? I tried to use my E6 through Line Out and I notice it sounds a bit better, though. Is that something expected?- samu

FiiO E10K sounds really dark
Quote: Quote: LoL, I just notice that. So you actually put the auxiliary through that Line-Out on the back and run your HD555 from the front, is it? I have no idea that it actually work (transferring that analog signal to the headphone). Don't mind that buddy. Everyone...- samu

FiiO E17K Review
I'm a newbie and be mindful regarding my question that may sound too stupid. E17K is a multi-tool in one DAC as well as Amp. There is a Line In/Line Out jack right in between the headphones jack and digital coaxial input. So if I want to use it as an Amp, I can simply use an auxiliary...- samu

V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.
I bought the white color one in a shop in Thailand while on vacation. It turns out that it had a cracked plastic and the color somehow looks dirty. I did swap it back to the shop but ended up they don't have another white color which is very dissapointing (though the ribbon is in place) I think...- samu

You got 2 cable aren't you? That's not enough? I suggest you got vmoda but non-attached in line mic (the straight braided one with branch)- samu

Usually it is a bass filter. If you remove it possibly ruin the sound signature, bass might get dubby- samu

Wow, I just get a hang that most people own M100 either own PM3 or aiming for PM3(like me). Really? I never get to listened PM3 in a noisy environment but M100 standout nicely in a noisy environment (I remember the first time auditioning M100 in an exhibition and it is really standout)- samu

I wont prefer crank it, might damage my ear. But I do admit that M100 have an outstanding sound isolation, and compared to any other headphones it work nicely in a crowdy environment.- samu

Sorry but with me, I don't considering buy M100 (again) if I had a chance to sell it (I don't think so, because I don't like to sell my headphones, it's a collection) Why? One thing I learn from buying M100 is that sound quality is not everything. Comfort is on par with sound quality. M100...- samu

For me, seriously it wasn't sonic wise but comfort wise. I LOVE the sound so dearly, but the comfort is unbearable most of the time, even with that XL Pads.- samu

I have auditioned it and it sounds great with the price. If I have to buy something around 150, I'd go for M50x. Comfort-wise, M50x way better than M100. But if I can rewind myself from buying M100, I would much rather go for Oppo PM3. By the way, all of them sounds great, I dont have...- samu

My M100 grill got rustic and I may need to remove it because I think some of the rust crumble inside the driver. Is it adviseable to dissamble it? I Have dissamble Sennheiser HD429 and do some mods with it but with Vmoda price, I dont dare to do it. Anyone know whether the guarantee cover rusting?- samu

Fiio E17k Alpen 2
Through Ligtning Port? I'm not sure with that (since I don't use Iphone). You need to check with @JamesFiiO for that. Normally if you can find specific cable from FiiO which convert usb mini to lightning, I think it might work. Even if it doesn't work, you can always use it as an amp.- samu
