Thanks for the response bark snarly! I have auditioned the h6 and noticed its excellent balance as well. I am trying to look for a cheaper alternative to the h6. The msr7s thin sounding nature is what is preventing to me from purchasing it. I gotta have my full mids.

Thanks guys for the response! I will go for the sony mdr 1r mk2 as they are cheaper and seem to cater toward my sound preference. The comment about the 1r mk2 having more subbass is reassuring haha. The Vmoda m100 will definitely be next on the list if I end up not liking them!

To be honest, the ue 6000 look very bulky. I have seen and heard them at a best buy and I did enjoy the sound. But the bulkiness of the headphone and beatsesque styling throws me off.

Yes these are very durable. I've been shoving these into my backpack for the past year at university and they have not broken yet haha.

I received the amperiors a few days ago. I personal prefer the comfort, more relaxed sound, and soundstage of the Vmoda M80. The clamp on the amperiors makes it uncomfortable to wear after 30min because I wear glasses. I will be looking for a trade for the vmoda xs haha.

Haha I did write C5D on accident. I am deciding between the two, but will go for the ibasso d42. The ibasso can used as a DAC on my samsung s3 and laptop for on the go purposes.
