I've got a Yggdrasil and Ragnarok and I'm trying to figure out the best way to use my Macbook as an audio source with the Yggdrasil. I'm wondering if a USB B to USB-C cable will be OK. Or if an optical to 3.5mm jack (but digital to analog in the cable can't be proper)? More or less wondering...

Just bought a Schiit Yggdrasil and Schiit Ragnarok for my home setup and looking for a solid upgrade over my office headphones (HE-560's). Looking for the best headphones under $2,000 USD.

Quick question guys: My HE-500's failed the other day and when I emailed hifiman, they offered to 'upgrade' to the HE-560's for $440. I took the offer.  My current setup is a Schitt Lyr (first) + Bitfrost. Is this a good match for these headphones? I didn't really look into anything yet...

I have the TC level pilot but it's input and output is XLR only and I need XLR to RCA adapters. TC recommended to get balanced XLR to RCA cables, but they wouldn't recommend any to me... can anyone recommend any (cheapest)?    Thanks!

I originally had the Neuhaus Laboratories T-2 Amplifier with HE-500's.   I just got the Lyr. It BLOWS it away. I mean, no contest. Absolutely brilliant sounding. Blowing me away. 

I dig my Bitfrost, but I'm not sure on the Neuhaus amp... I can crank it up to full volume with the HE-500s and while at a nice loud level, it could certainly go louder. I feel like its not pushing the actuality of the headphones. Sounds pretty damn good to me.. but I bet it can get much...

This company is absolutely terrible. I've emailed them many, many times with zero response.    The T-2 does not work properly and it has serious radio feedback (every other link in the system has been ruled out).    Pretty unbelievable. Do not order from this company. If anyone knows how...
