I've randomly decided to use a RCA -> SE adaptor to connect a headphone to a preamp, and to my sirprise, they sound great. I was wondering if this is okay, or will it cause the preamp or the headphones to break? Right now headphone sound rgeat, and was wondering if I could eschew headphone amps.

Thinking about going balanced w/ SE adaptors... I know there ar many out there who recable (Moonaudio,Enigmaaudio,[AK]zip, etc), but I've never had a chance to hear these secondary market cables. Has anyone done recabling on L3000s? Any suggestions on which might go well with the L3000s?
