Hi, a buddy of mine wants to rewire Edition 9s, but doesn't know how to open them up. Anyone got clues/tips/pics?

No responses--maybe everyone is too hesitant to open them up. But I'd like to know the story on this so I'll bump this thread along.

Proved that despite its huge size the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

Remove the pads, remove the black cloth carefully, it is attached by double suded tape, them remove the 3 screws that attaches the front panel to the cup, be careful in that process, once you have done that, you are ready to go...
Not that I agree in recabling them, but if you are going to do it, I will not be the one to stop you...
